Recently, exciting news came from the Guangdong Provincial Construction Industry Association: Fengxiang Bridge, part of the Nan Zhuang Avenue East Extension Project, for which China Communications Construction Road and Bridge Co., Ltd. served as the general contractor, successfully won the 2024 Guangdong Provincial Construction Project Quality Structure Award. Our company, as the steel structure professional subcontractor for this project, received high recognition from the general contractor, China Communications Construction Road and Bridge Co., Ltd., for its outstanding performance in steel structure manufacturing and installation. Our on-site manager received an honorary certificate from the project manager, Yang Zhengfu. Fengxiang Bridge: A new shining landmark of Foshan
Spanning the Dongping waterway, Nan Zhuang Avenue Fengxiang Bridge is Foshan's main urban area's first single-tower cable-stayed bridge. Construction began in October 2019 and attracted much attention. In January 2023, this magnificent bridge officially opened to traffic, adding a significant contribution to the city's transportation. Its main bridge uses a single-tower, double-cable-plane cable-stayed bridge design. The main tower is 151 meters high, and the main bridge span layout is (65+75+268) meters, with a central span of 268 meters. The unique vase-shaped main tower has smooth lines and combines modernity with artistic flair. It not only plays an important transportation role but has also become a popular check-in spot in Chancheng District, Foshan, attracting numerous citizens and tourists.
