Today, Wu Hong, Director of the Department of Infrastructure Construction of the Public Works Bureau of Macao, led a group of leaders from the design, supervision, quality control, and construction units of the A3 project, which connects the new reclamation area A to the Macao Peninsula, to conduct a special inspection at Zhuhai Orient Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Wang Xuan, Vice General Manager of Orient Heavy Industry, and Wang Zhenwei, Manager of the Macao Company, accompanied and received the group.

Today, Wu Hong, Director of the Infrastructure Department of the Public Works Bureau of Macao, led a group of leaders from the design, supervision, quality control, and construction units of the New Town Reclamation Area A and Macao Peninsula connecting bridge (A3) design and construction project to Zhuhai Orient Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. for a special inspection. Wang Xuan, Vice General Manager of Orient Heavy Industry, and Wang Zhenwei, Manager of the Macao Company, accompanied and received them throughout.

At the meeting, Vice General Manager Wang Xuan extended a warm welcome to the guests from Macao on behalf of the company. He emphasized: "As an important participant in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Orient Heavy Industry has always been driven by technological innovation for high-quality development. The A3 connecting bridge project is a strategic project connecting Zhuhai and Macao, and we feel deeply honored by this mission." He also introduced the company's production and operation status, and the production capacity of various factories. During this process, he further explained the company's core values of "serving the nation through performance, giving back to society, achieving customer success, and caring for employees," emphasizing that Orient Heavy Industry always adheres to the business philosophy of "professional efficiency and excellence," taking "industrialization of building products, intelligent factory production, modular on-site installation, and internationalization of the building market" as its strategic orientation. It is based in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, radiating to the global market, with the goal of becoming a leading integrated solution provider in the field of prefabricated and green low-carbon buildings.

 

After the meeting, the visiting leaders and guests visited the company's exhibition hall and various factories, experiencing firsthand Orient Heavy Industry's intelligent manufacturing capabilities:

1.富山Factory: Visited the bridge steel structure and modular building production workshops, witnessing the automated process from steel plate pretreatment to intelligent welding and experiencing the innovative application of rapid assembly technology in civil engineering projects.

2.雷蛛Factory: Focused on the prefabricated concrete component production line, understanding that the company has obtained the Macao premixed concrete production certificate (LECM) and has the production capacity to supply concrete components to Macao.

3.高欄Factory: Focused on observing the entire process of bridge steel structure manufacturing.

Director Wu Hong said during the visit: "The technological accumulation and hardware facilities of Orient Heavy Industry in the field of cross-sea bridge steel structures are impressive. We expect the A3 connecting bridge project to become another benchmark for government-enterprise cooperation."

This inspection marks the official entry of the A3 connecting bridge project into the implementation phase. As an important link between the Macao Peninsula and the New Town reclamation area, the completion of the A3 connecting bridge will further improve the transportation network of the Greater Bay Area and promote regional integrated development. Orient Heavy Industry will work with all participating units to drive project construction with the dual engines of "intelligent manufacturing + quality," injecting new impetus into Macao's urban development.
